Birth And Early Life Of Sai Baba

there is not much concrete evidence about the birth and early life of Sai Baba.
Sai Baba is believed to have been born in Pathri village of Parbhani district
of Maharashtra.
Baba is
claimed to have been seen for the first time in Shirdi in the year 1854, when
his age is said to be 16 years. According to that, Sai Baba was born in the
year 1938. But according to Sathya Sai Baba who considered himself an
incarnation of Sai Baba, Baba was born on 27 September 1830.
According to
the book 'Sadguru Sai Darshan' written by Shashikant Shantaram Gadkari, Baba
was born in a Brahmin family. It is believed that he belonged to Koshik gotra
and Brahmin Yajurvedi branch. It is said that Sai Baba's father's name was
Gangabhau and mother's name was Devkigiri.
Sai Baba is
said to be the third child out of the total 5 children of his parents, whose
initial name is said to be Haribabu Bhusari.

Sai Baba's

Once a
couple came to Baba's hut for his darshan. After seeing Sai Baba and having

this sentence that 'O Allah, let this rain stop my children have to go home!'

Sai Baba
always used to light a lamp in the mosque. They used to light a lamp by asking
for oil from the banias of the village. But one day out of envy, any bania of
the village refused to give oil to Sai Baba.
But when Sai
Baba lit the lamp with water, this thing spread like a fire, finally all the
people realized their mistakes and they immediately reached to apologize to
Baba, to repent of their mistakes. Went. But displaying his emperor heart, Baba
forgave him with great affection.

It is said
that once when there was a water famine in Shirdi and there was no trace of a
drop in the wells, then Sai Baba astonished the people with his miracle.
Baba had
come to Shirdi in those days, when he came to know about this problem of the
people, he immediately reached there and told the people that this is the
water, then why do you people bother.
As if
immediately after saying this sentence of Baba, not knowing from where the
effect of water started in the level of the well, on seeing this everyone
understood that he is not an ordinary person.

Once a
farmer came to meet Baba. At that time the crops of that person were getting
very good. But when he reached before Baba, he asked him to return home immediately
saying that your crops have caught fire.
On hearing
this, the person immediately returned to his village, but there his crops were
completely safe. He could not understand anything and went back to Baba and
asked the question that Baba, there was no fire in my crops, then why did you
say so.
Baba again
warned him of the crops on fire and asked him to return. This time when he
returned to his home, he saw that his crops were burning in flames. He begged
for mercy from Sai Baba, then Baba extinguished all the fire at once with his
influence.
